Impossible List - 15 September

How far I've come over the course of the last month in regards to the impossible list of goals I've set for myself.

Impossible List - 15 September

How far I've come over the course of the last month in regards to the impossible list of goals I've set for myself.

Professional

I've re-written my automated t-shirt company to use images from wikicommons media and to tweet those details back at the original inspiration. I've noticed some issues with the use of Zazzle as a e-commerce solution being that it is a bit jankey. This would require another re-write and I'm ready to leave the project as I completed what I had started out to do.

I'm currently looking at completing the Bliss Symbolics keyboard and hopefully a basic messaging application. I'd love to do this by the end of the year.

We've had a bit of a lull in the phonetic spell checker, but we'll get back on track.

Health / Fitness

I have reversed the trend of me getting fatter and I'll need to work hard, but I think I can get myself back down lower again. I'm current sitting around 13 stone and need to loose about 10 pounds to hit my next weight target. I've moved on to using the NutraCheck app which appears to be easier to use than my own spreadsheets.

Still in hibernation is my ollie.

Personal Skills

I've roughed out 21 chapters so far and will continue to move forward.

Flickr now has 455 photos in it.

Travel / Events

I have climbed Mount Toubkal in Morocco and had a good time at it. It was an adventure.

Volunteering / Charity

Currently in month 2 of our three month advertising trial at Tayside Re-Users. Seems to be helping.

Education / Languages

Looking at DuoLingo and working out how long it should take I see that most of this year will be taken up with completing Russian in DuoLingo.

Financial

Settling into my new promotion. currently looking at £65k per year in salary, so without wanting to move to a new company (which currently would be a bad idea, I am very happy with my current position and colleagues) I think it will be a wee bit before I can advance my salary to £80k unless something internal opens up as a direction to move upwards, but this will most likely involve me transitioning to a management role.

Still awaiting immigration getting back to me, but with everything happening in the UK I'm fairly certain that my application is the least of their worries.
