Impossible List - 15 October

How far I've come over the course of the last month in regards to the impossible list of goals I've set for myself.

Professional

So another trip got in the way of working on my own side projects. However, I'm currently working on two major professional projects, the first is an application that looks at Mountain Weather and the second is writing and filming my own Udemy course on JavaScript Debugging.

Health / Fitness

I'm currently working to get back on my general health plan including standardizing my wake up time, and getting back out on my daily walks and weekly runs. This is just coming to the end of re-consolidating my work and then moving forward after laxing a bit.

Personal Skills

I have been working on my book and working through the developmental edit. This has slowed down a bit, but I'm working to keep chipping away at it. My current trajectory will see a draft of the book completed by the end of the year. This is currently my main focus of work.

Flickr now has 629 photos in it.

Travel / Events

I travelled to Amsterdam and smoked the pots. It was a lot more enjoyable than I had first thought it was going to be. I'm sure I'll go back and try it again, but it wasn't so amazing that I can't keep all of my pot smoking to Amsterdam. Paris wasn't my favourite place. It has it's own vibe that really rubs me the wrong way. Still managed to enjoy it as best as possible with me and my son having a fab time.

I'm looking forward to attending the Royal Geographical Society conference in November.

Volunteering / Charity

Membership cards are now a thing at Tayside Re-Users. Let's give it a few months and see how that impacts membership.

Education / Languages

I've continued with my DuoLingo work. Hopefully in the next 12 months I can get through and complete Russian. I might be good at that point to jump back into a Russian class.

Financial

Just working hard in my role as React Tech Lead and trying to sort out my shop and put everything into a good status.
