Impossible List - 15 November

How far I've come over the course of the last month in regards to the impossible list of goals I've set for myself.

Professional

Starting to feel wiped out and slowing down on side projects, the ideas keep coming and I'm capturing them, but the desire to follow through on any of them is waning. Although saying that I'm putting time and effort into my handmade Christmas gifts at the moment so perhaps that is more important. Perhaps I just need a wee break.

Health / Fitness

I've seemed to stabalize my wake up time of 4am, but I'm being lazy in the mornings. A lot of YouTube watching and I'm not currently happy with my routine. I'll keep workign on it.

Personal Skills

I have been working on my book and working through the developmental edit. This has slowed down a bit, but I'm working to keep chipping away at it. My current trajectory will see a draft of the book completed by the end of the year. This is currently my main focus of work.

Flickr now has 631 photos in it.

Travel / Events

I attended the Royal Geographical Society Explore Conference and it was inspiring. If I was independently wealthy I would regularly join expeditions and help out and possibly even create my own. As it stands I've got ideas about creating an expedition, but keeping it within a manageable scope is proving difficult.

Volunteering / Charity

Membership cards are now a thing at Tayside Re-Users. Let's give it a few months and see how that impacts membership.

Education / Languages

I've continued with my DuoLingo work. Hopefully in the next 12 months I can get through and complete Russian. I might be good at that point to jump back into a Russian class.

Financial

Just working hard in my role as React Tech Lead and trying to sort out my shop and put everything into a good status.
