Impossible List - 15 May

Professional

So I spent a lot of time looking at what I could do that would focus my efforts on solving a problem or perhaps just being a big nuisance. I circles back around to my automated business. My April blog focuses on it much more so if you're interested you can read about it there. Suffice to say the Automated Business is back in scope and I'm currently working through my code to make it robust and move it forward from where it was.

Speaking about automated businesses might be on the cards, but I'll have to get the app done first.

Dundee Tech Meetup is still as far away as it ever was.

Health / Fitness

So I've been actively working on reducing my calorie intake and it seems to be having an impact on my weight.  I'm currently on track to weight 13 stone on 1 July. We'll see if it happens.

I haven't been doing intentional walks yet, but I have been actively walking up hills and with the relaxation of restrictions I've been going up mountains. The plan for May (weather dependent) is to climb An Socach then also Beinn lutharn Mhor and Carn Bhac.

I'm aiming to try and get my autism assessment moving this month calling the doctor and seeing if I can't get onto the list for being assessed. I'll see where that goes.

I've only tried once or twice to work on my ollie, much to my chagrin I'll most likely need to get Finn to help me. He'll love it though.

Personal Skills

So I've got through a first pass of editing the first ten chapters of my book. I'm going to print them out and give the whole thing an edit in one go to try and link the chapters that I have been looking at in isolation. I'm hoping that I can complete 10 chapters every 6 months going forward so I should have a complete first draft of my book by the end of 2022.

I moved up to 87 photos on Flickr this month, hopefully with two mountains this month I'll get a bunch more for next month.

Travel / Events

Yep, nothing as of yet. Although apparently we'll hear about the whole traffic light system of travelling to foreign countries by the end of May. It appears Israel might be a contender for a green lit country, too bad it just went into a mini civil war.

Volunteering / Charity

Tayside Re-Users is back open and we are jumping on getting ourselves sorted and back into a position to get a mortgage and buy our location.

Education / Languages

Russian is still moving along. Nothing brilliant to report.

Financial

Things are starting to look up. Coming to the end of a debt building phase and in a couple of months we are going to work on paying down those debts and getting ourselves sorted out a bit.

I have now achieved an income of £40,000 looks like we'll need to up the goal. Perhaps £60,000?

Finally due to a little saved up money I'm working towards gaining my British citizenship before they find another way to raise the price of the application. I've got my Life in the UK book to hand and I'll book a test here soon.
