Impossible List - 15 March

How far I've come over the course of the last month in regards to the impossible list of goals I've set for myself.

Professional

I've been moving forward with my automated t-shirt project finishing the bulk of it and I'm currently working on displaying the results on a Twitter feed and migrating everything from a local environment to a permanent one.

The phonetic spell checker hasn't come back on line yet, but I believe it will soon.

Health / Fitness

I am steadily losing weight, perhaps this is the year I get down to my ideal weight as defined by the NHS. I seem to hover around 13 stone, not sure why, but I'll keep working at it.

Still in hibernation is my ollie, perhaps I'll get the skateboard out in the spring.

I've had a couple more opportunities to try drinking again and I'm not really liking it. Besides the worry about the calories getting in the way of my weight loss goals, the hangover is absolutely not worth the drinks. I think I might move myself over to grandma mode and have a sherry every Christmas and New Years from now on.

Personal Skills

I noticed in my writing that my book was veering off track and I sat down to write out an outline of what I've put together so far. I've been slowly working on this and I hope I'll have most of a first draft done by the end of the year.

Flickr now has 300 photos in it.

Travel / Events

Currently on the horizon is a trip to see my parents back in Iowa. I'm nervous at the prospect of all the money spent can be lost in an instant based on not understanding rules or reading the wrong source of information. This trip is coming fast.

Volunteering / Charity

I'm beginning the process of updating our approach to members and to our advertising increasing our membership and our sales. It will take several months, but I think it will definitely pay off.

Education / Languages

Looking at DuoLingo and working out how long it should take I see that most of this year will be taken up with completing Russian in DuoLingo.

Financial

We are starting to get better at predicting our monthly finances. Hopefully we'll take a big chunk of our debt out over the course of the year.

I'm still waiting on my citizenship decision. Fingers crossed.
