Impossible List - 15 July

How far I've come over the course of the last month in regards to the impossible list of goals I've set for myself.

Professional

I've had a few versions of my t-shirt business automation running on my production server so I could catch any issues when running. I've caught a few and made a few adjustments along the way. Currently I am looking at the effects of turning the algorithm up to 11 which should generate about 1000 t-shirt ideas a day.

I want to run the algorithm successfully for about a week before I point the t-shirts back at their inspiration. And hopefully achieving my first aim of generating my first sale.

As for the phonetic spell checker I've gotten back on track with the founder of that business and planned out a third and final attempt to get this MVP built.

Health / Fitness

I have reversed the trend of me getting fatter and I'll need to work hard, but I think I can get myself back down lower again. I'm current sitting around 13 stone and need to loose about 10 pounds to hit my next weight target.

Still in hibernation is my ollie, perhaps I'll get the skateboard out this summer.

Personal Skills

I've roughed out 13 chapters so far and will continue to move forward.

Flickr now has 390 photos in it.

Travel / Events

Morocco is booked up for September so waiting on this to be an adventure.

Volunteering / Charity

I'm still working on our new and improved advertising/marketing strategy at Tayside Re-Users. This has currently been designed and is set to go live on 1 August for three months. We'll evaluate the outcome of that work and seek to create membership cards to be used to boost our membership.

Education / Languages

Looking at DuoLingo and working out how long it should take I see that most of this year will be taken up with completing Russian in DuoLingo.

Financial

Settling into my new promotion. currently looking at £65k per year in salary, so without wanting to move to a new company (which currently would be a bad idea, I am very happy with my current position and colleagues) I think it will be a wee bit before I can advance my salary to £80k unless something internal opens up as a direction to move upwards, but this will most likely involve me transitioning to a management role.

Still awaiting immigration getting back to me, but with everything happening in the UK I'm fairly certain that my application is the least of their worries.
