Impossible List - 15 January

How far I've come over the course of the last month in regards to the impossible list of goals I've set for myself.

Professional

I've begun looking back at my seasonal prediction software, I'm hoping that I can get the bulk of the work on this done over the course of six months and then spend the next six looking at getting the application taken up and used.

Health / Fitness

I've taken up working out at the gym building strength. Also I have been dragging my feet, but I have started running getting ready for my ultra marathon later in the year. Even dieting is going decently so far. I hope to end this year, running well, buff and closer to my correct weight.

Personal Skills

I've sent my book out to two beta readers, Hopefully I get some good feedback and I can incorporate it all together and write another draft before sending it out to two more beta readers in May (currently planning on asking Mike and Kirsten, but they don't know so don't tell them).

Flickr has 759 photos in it.

Travel / Events

I've planned a trip to Orkney with Louise for May, should be braw. I've also noticed that Fraser is dragging his feet a bit about planning Amsterdam. I wonder if that will actually go ahead?

Volunteering / Charity

I'm starting to step up when it comes to the running of Tayside Re-Users. If we can get some of our basics in place we should be in a better place to better understand our business and get it running smoothly making money. It will take another six months to start seeing some of the fruits of my labour though.

In newer news though we have some ideas on a new location, watch this space.

Education / Languages

I'm stepping up with my DuoLingo work. My aim is to complete the Russian course turning all of the lessons gold by August so that I can focus on enrolling on a course for Russian. I'm currently looking at the online course from Oxford. It'll be nice to say I went to Oxford.

Financial

Just working hard in my role as React Tech Lead and trying to sort out my shop and put everything into a good status. We are moving forward, but this might take years.
