Impossible List - 15 January

How far I've come over the course of the last month in regards to the impossible list of goals I've set for myself.

Impossible List - 15 January

How far I've come over the course of the last month in regards to the impossible list of goals I've set for myself.

Professional

I've pulled together my work in bliss-symbolics. Still to be done is to pull all of that work together in an npm library that can be easily used in other projects. I've moved on to give myself something new to work on, but I'll circle back around and sort this out.

Health / Fitness

So I'm getting it into my head that this year is going to see me hit my weight goal of 11st 11lb and from that point I'm going to switch to working on weight training to build my strength and some running to build up my endurance. I spent the last month of 2022 getting fatter, but that should all work itself out with some concentrated effort.

Personal Skills

I'm looking at focusing on my book as my key project over the course of 2023. Fingers crossed I can get that project ticked off my list next year. It's been a slow start, but this is still the aim.

Flickr now has 496 photos in it, I've not been focused on photos for a wee bit.

Travel / Events

So tickets and accommodation have been purchased. I'm going to the Sami Reindeer Races in Tromsø.

Volunteering / Charity

I've started gathering the information required to do sales and footfall analysis of our advertising run and see if we can see anything in the data.

The key things I need to focus on next year is an increase in the membership to Tayside Re-Users.

Education / Languages

Looking at DuoLingo and working out how long it should take I think this might take a good little while, most likely well into next summer before I'm nearing completion.

Financial

Just working hard in my role as React Tech Lead and trying to sort out my shop and put everything into a good status.

Still awaiting immigration getting back to me, but with everything happening in the UK I'm fairly certain that my application is the least of their worries.
