Impossible List - 15 February

How far I've come over the course of the last month in regards to the impossible list of goals I've set for myself.

Professional

I'm in the middle of building the ensemble forecast model for predicting African rainy seasons. Hopefully that continues, so far everything has gone rather smoothly.

Health / Fitness

I've taken up working out at the gym building strength. Also I have been dragging my feet, but I have started running getting ready for my ultra marathon later in the year. Even dieting is going decently so far. I hope to end this year, running well, buff and closer to my correct weight.

Personal Skills

I've sent my book out to two beta readers, I'm still waiting on hearing back and getting stuck into to reviewing the feedback. I'll chase them up in March.

Flickr has 760 photos in it.

Travel / Events

Amsterdam looks like it's dead. Excitingly this gives me the budget an opportunity to plan something myself, I'm currently eyeing up Climbing Mount Musala in Bulgaria or chilling out in Istanbul.

Volunteering / Charity

I'm starting to step up when it comes to the running of Tayside Re-Users. If we can get some of our basics in place we should be in a better place to better understand our business and get it running smoothly making money. It will take another six months to start seeing some of the fruits of my labour though.

In newer news though we have some ideas on a new location, watch this space.

Education / Languages

I'm stepping up with my DuoLingo work. My aim is to complete the Russian course turning all of the lessons gold by August so that I can focus on enrolling on a course for Russian. I'm currently looking at the online course from Oxford. It'll be nice to say I went to Oxford.

Financial

Just working hard in my role as React Tech Lead and trying to sort out my shop and put everything into a good status. We are moving forward, but this might take years.
