Impossible List - 15 February

How far I've come over the course of the last month in regards to the impossible list of goals I've set for myself.

Impossible List - 15 February

How far I've come over the course of the last month in regards to the impossible list of goals I've set for myself.

Professional

I've been working on pooling mountain weather data through web scraping and api calls to hopefully support a mountain weather mobile application. We'll see where it gets to over the course of the year.

I've begun to pull together an idea around writing and producing a Udemy course on debugging large JavaScript applications.

Health / Fitness

So I'm getting it into my head that this year is going to see me hit my weight goal of 11st 11lb and from that point I'm going to switch to working on weight training to build my strength and some running to build up my endurance.

So far I have been going in the wrong direction. My plan is to add running into the mix and really drive home my diet.

Personal Skills

I have been working on my book and working through the first rough draft.

Flickr now has 510 photos in it, I've not been focused on photos for a wee bit.

Travel / Events

I've attended the Sami Reindeer Races in Tromsø.

Volunteering / Charity

After analysing sales data we seem to have a better understanding of sales at Tayside Re-users and that is helping to drive this year's advertising strategy.

I am also pulling together a proposal for an increase of membership through the use of membership cards.

Education / Languages

I've continued with my DuoLingo work. I have also added in a re-taking of subjects regarding JavaScript, Typescript and React to re-vamp my skills as well as get a good understanding of how to structure a Udemy course.

Financial

Just working hard in my role as React Tech Lead and trying to sort out my shop and put everything into a good status.

Still awaiting immigration getting back to me, but with everything happening in the UK I'm fairly certain that my application is the least of their worries.
