Impossible List - 15 December

How far I've come over the course of the last month in regards to the impossible list of goals I've set for myself.

Professional

Writing is taking up most of my spare time these days, but I do have a project waiting to be picked up again in January when I hopefully have more free time. This was the project regarding predictions of rainy seasons with details on length, amount of rain and possibly suggestions on which crops match the prediction.

Health / Fitness

Having started running again since the marathon, and I have seemed to just got through the painful time I was having. It's still difficult, just difficult without me thinking that I'm seriously injuring my internal bits. I'm most of the way through for training for a 10K. In January I'll start training for a marathon which should finish up around the time I climb Mont Blanc and then go through the raining for a 50k before I run the Glen Ogle 33.

I am weighing in heavier than I wanted too. It is proving difficult to move my weight from my current position. However, that is generally my fault and I need to reduce my calorie intake. I'm ramping up my running and I am hoping to add in some weights for strength training before my climb in June. The aim is to get myself down to the top end of ideal weight which should be around 11 stone 11 pounds and looking sexy for going to America.

Personal Skills

As said I've been really working through the editing of my book. I am hoping that I will have a solid finished draft by the end of the year to go to beta readers and then throughout next year I will edit and go through more beta readers before ultimately trying to get a literary agent. I'll give it a good Harvard try, but if nothing comes of it I'll put the book up for self publishing.

Travel / Events

Went to Copenhagen, their burger game is next level. Although if Copenhagen was a colour it would be beige. Tivoli Gardens was gorgeous though.

Volunteering / Charity

I'm starting to step up when it comes to the running of Tayside Re-Users. If we can get some of our basics in place we should be in a better place to better understand our business and get it running smoothly making money. It will take another 6 months to start seeing some of the fruits of my labour though.

Education / Languages

I'm stepping up with my DuoLingo work. My aim is to complete the Russian course turning all of the lessons gold by August so that I can focus on enrolling on a course for Russian. I'm currently looking at the online course from Oxford. It'll be nice to say I went to Oxford.

Financial

Just working hard in my role as React Tech Lead and trying to sort out my shop and put everything into a good status. We are moving forward, but this might take years.
