Impossible List - 15 April

How far I've come over the course of the last month in regards to the impossible list of goals I've set for myself.

Professional

I've finished writing an API for a UK mountain weather app. I've archived my work and will return to create the mobile application after I've finished working on my Udemy courses. I've currently finished the first of 4 courses in JavaScript, now on to TypeScript.

I'm working on the outline for a JavaScript Debugging course. Hopefully I can get this up and running within 6 months, but knowing me it will take all year.

Health / Fitness

I've started trending downward over the last few weeks. Hopefully I'm turning things around now, but it is really too early to tell.

Personal Skills

I have been working on my book and working through the developmental edit.

Flickr now has 528 photos in it, I've not been focused on photos for a wee bit. Hopefully I'll pick that back up with more trips up the hills and with my new 70-300mm lens.

Travel / Events

So I was talking to my mother and it seems I might need to swap out my Chaos Computer Camp trip for one where I go climb a mountain with my mother in the Colorado Rockies. Currently looking at San Luis Peak, but nothing is confirmed.

Volunteering / Charity

I'm moving Tayside -Re-Users closer to promoting membership cards. I think this will spur on membership by a significant factor. I'm hoping that an increase in membership will also see an increase in opportunity to get board members.

Education / Languages

I've continued with my DuoLingo work. I have also added in a re-taking of subjects regarding JavaScript, Typescript and React to re-vamp my skills as well as get a good understanding of how to structure a Udemy course.

Financial

Just working hard in my role as React Tech Lead and trying to sort out my shop and put everything into a good status. I'm starting to wonder what future would be, not to attempt to move to it now, but to slowly build up my skills to support a move in a year or two.

Still awaiting immigration getting back to me, but with everything happening in the UK I'm fairly certain that my application is the least of their worries.
