Impossible List - 15 April

April update on my progress with my Impossible List.

Impossible List - 15 April

Professional

I'm still moving along with my Blissymbolics keyboard. It's a juicy project, but it has stumped me a few times requiring me to work around a problem until I could find a suitable answer. Not having a time constraint is definitely showing, but the quality of the code that is written feels substantially better. In the grand scheme of things nobody will care, but it makes me feel good inside.

I've been exploring what can take the spot of an automated business in the coming months. Trying to find something ridiculously big and audacious.

Health / Fitness

Marches hill climb didn't really happen due to lambing season getting in the way. However, from 16 April travel has been opened up within Scotland so I'll be able to get myself up a hill, I've got my eye on Càrn a' Ghèoidh as a warm up.

Weight loss is moving along and that's all well and good. I'll need to get some regular exercise on the go so I can become a beefcake!

Personal Skills

Still editing the first 10 chapters of my book. Turns out my daughters friend really likes books about Faeries so I've got a beta reader, yay!

I moved up to 73 photos on Flickr this month, slow month.

Travel / Events

It feels like this whole section can hibernate for a year.

Volunteering / Charity

Who knows, I still work for a charity and volunteer occasionally, we'll need something more involved before the end of the year.

Education / Languages

Russian is still moving along. Nothing brilliant to report.

Financial

Things are starting to look up. Coming to the end of a debt building phase and in a couple of months we are going to work on paying down those debts and getting ourselves sorted out a bit.
