Day One Promises from Trump

I don't know if this will be a surprise to anyone, but I am not particularly sure that Donald Trump is always completely truthful.

I don't know if this will be a surprise to anyone, but I am not particularly sure that Donald Trump is always completely truthful. Not that this needs proven more than once, but I saw the reference to all the things he was going to do on day one. And started to wonder how many things that was and once I had compiled a list I wondered if it would happen.

So I pulled together this list of all the promises that Donald Trump made of things he would do on "Day One" using rollcall.com. I found 19 particular items 5 of which he said more than once. I guess now all we have to do is wait for 21 January 2025 and see how much of this is carried out. I'm not entirely sure the United States President has the authority to do all of these things, but I wasn't sure that Trump was going to get re-elected in such a landslide, so I can definitely be wrong.
